Doxus is the trading name of Doxus Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 17148988). The registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
Roles
Doxus acts as controller for account, authentication, support, security, marketing, and visitor data. Doxus acts as processor for tenant-submitted documents, mailbox content, extraction workflows, and workflow delivery.
Data we collect
We collect account contact details, authentication metadata, workspace settings, forwarded document content, extracted fields, audit events, support messages, trial and enquiry request details, and limited diagnostics.
Purposes and lawful bases
Data is used to operate the service, authenticate users, process customer instructions, provide support, protect the platform, meet legal duties, and communicate about the service where permitted.
Retention
Retention depends on workspace configuration, audit needs, support handling, legal obligations, and deletion requests that apply to the relevant data set.
International transfers
Some providers operate outside the UK or EEA. Transfers rely on UK-EU adequacy where it applies and on standard contractual clauses where it does not. The subprocessor list states each provider's region.
Rights
People may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection where those rights apply. Requests about customer workspace data may need to be handled with the customer controller.
Complaints
Contact Doxus first so the issue can be reviewed. People may also contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office if they are unhappy with the response.
Children
The service is intended for business use and is not directed at children.
AI and automation
Doxus may use AI-assisted processing to read, classify, and extract information from customer-submitted documents under customer instructions.
